The Scheduling Mechanic
The game simulates a scheduling problem where the game automatically selects the best feasible job subset. Each job has a fixed label-based profit and a processing length derived from a wheel reading.
- Processing Length: Calculated as reading + 1.
- Deadlines: Fixed labels at 3, 6, 9, and 12.
- Profits: Fixed labels at 1, 3, 5, and 9.
- Input Generation: Four independently uniform custom wheel readings (0–7) supply the labelled inputs for each round.
The optimum is calculated automatically; the player does not manually choose the optimization solution. All selected jobs must meet their own individual deadlines, not just a single horizon.
Stakes and Modes
The demo offers specific controls and modes based on the supplied contract.
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Stake Options | One whole stake per draw: 10, 20, 50, or 100. |
| Auto/Stop | No automatic queue, no early cash-out, and no stop control. |
| Reward Powers | Powers 1, 2, and 3 each use their own exact 4096-draw mean. |
| Expected Return | Each power gives a 96% expected gross return. |
Mathematical Evidence
The following table displays the exact expected values and simulation measurements for the three modes. Note that simulation measurements are supporting sample observations, not the mathematical payout law.
| Mode | Expected RTP | Measured % (1M rounds) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 96% | 95.97369% |
| 2 | 96% | 95.97891% |
| 3 | 96% | 95.965565% |
Displayed multipliers are gross coin returns, not profit. The actual payout math and every mode are recorded in the source-bound mathematical evidence.
Wallet and Persistence
This demo uses a local virtual wallet. The following rules apply to your balance:
- Initial Balance: 1000 virtual coins.
- Restoration: If the balance drops below 10 while idle, you can manually restore it. This action SETS the balance to exactly 1000. It does not add coins or automatically replenish; it is a manual reset.
- Fractional Carry: Fractional changes persist through settlement, manual refill, and reload.
- Unfinished Rounds: If you reload the page during an active round, the round ends without refund or resume. Progress is not saved for unfinished draws.
Controls and Interface
During active play, the stake, mode, and refill controls are locked. Sound remains available. The interface does not include account-level blocking, timers, or self-exclusion tools beyond this demo's local state.
Privacy and Storage
This demo saves the current virtual balance and the fractional payout remainder in localStorage on this browser. It has no account registration or payment form. The page declares Google Fonts for typography and the published page includes the Statinside visitor counter for account 44; these services can receive browser requests. These observations do not establish anonymity or exclusive local processing. Clearing cached files alone can leave localStorage intact; removing this site’s stored data removes the saved wallet.
Frequently asked questions
Is Deadline Profit a standard roulette game?
No. It is an independent roulette-family optimization demonstration. While it uses wheel readings (0–7) similar to roulette, the core mechanic is a scheduling problem where the optimum is calculated automatically based on processing lengths and deadlines.
How is the balance restored?
If your balance is below 10 and you are idle, you can manually restore it. This action sets the balance to exactly 1000, preserving any fractional change. It is not an automatic refill or a deposit.
What happens if I leave the page mid-round?
An unfinished round ends without refund or resume. Your settled balance persists, but the current draw is lost.
