Deadline Profit: Rules, Math & Demo

The official website of 38h.

The official website of 38h. Deadline Profit is an independent roulette-family optimization demonstration, not a European roulette paytable. The core mechanic involves selecting a subset of jobs that can each finish on time. Processing lengths are derived from wheel readings as readings+1. Jobs have labelled deadlines of 3, 6, 9, 12 and fixed labelled profits of 1, 3, 5, 9. All selected jobs must meet their own individual deadline, not just a single horizon.

Four independently uniform custom wheel readings (0–7) supply the labelled inputs. The optimum is calculated automatically; the player does not choose an optimization solution. This guide explains the exact supplied original rules, controls, scoring, and mathematical expectation.

Game Mechanics and Controls

The game operates as an independent demonstration where the player captures a virtual stake. The stake is a whole amount chosen from 10, 20, 50, or 100.

  • Input Generation: Four independently uniform custom wheel readings (0–7) supply the labelled inputs for processing lengths; deadlines and profits are fixed.
  • Optimization: The system automatically calculates the maximum profit of a selected job subset that can each finish on time. The player does not choose the optimization solution.
  • Stakes: One whole stake is captured per complete draw.
  • No Auto/Stop: There is no automatic queue, no early cashout, and no stop feature.

Reward Powers and Payouts

There are three distinct reward powers, labelled 1, 2, and 3. Each power uses its own exact 4096-draw mean and gives a 96% expected gross return.

Reward PowerExpected Gross Return

Displayed multipliers are gross coin returns, not profit. The actual payout math and every mode are recorded in the source-bound mathematical evidence.

Mathematical Expectation

The expected values are derived from the exact 4096-draw mean for each mode. Simulation measurements are supporting sample observations and not the mathematical payout law.

ModeExpected RTPMeasured RTP (1M Rounds)
196%95.97369%
296%95.97891%
396%95.965565%

Different modes can have different distributions; expected RTP is not a promised session result.

Wallet and Persistence

The wallet state is local and specific to this demo.

  • Initial Balance: 1000 virtual coins.
  • Restoration: If the balance drops below 10 while idle, a manual restoration sets the balance to exactly 1000. This preserves fractional change.
  • Fractional Carry: Persists through settlement, manual refill, and reload.
  • Unfinished Rounds: If you reload during an unfinished round, it ends without refund or resume.

Storage and Privacy

Game source uses localStorage for settled balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing. The absence of account or payment controls in the demo does not prove that no personal data are processed.

Audience and Responsibility

This guide is intended for adults aged 18 and older, with no age-verification gate. Set personal limits for time and virtual coins and take breaks between completed draws. The demo has no enforced session timer or account-level controls.

Frequently asked questions

Is Deadline Profit a standard roulette game?

No. It is an original optimization demonstration with four readings from 0 to 7. Readings set processing lengths; the four deadlines and four profits are fixed. It does not use a European roulette paytable.

How is the winner determined?

The optimum is calculated automatically. The player selects a stake and mode, and the system determines the maximum profit of a selected job subset that can each finish on time based on the generated inputs.

What happens if I reload during a game?

An unfinished round ends without refund or resume. Only settled balances persist via local storage.
